The Holy Trinity Church of England Secondary School

Results Day 17/08/2017 - A Level & BTEC Level 3

I am delighted that our students have achieved so well this summer and have met the high expectations that we had of them.  This year more than a quarter of our students achieved at least one A* or A grade or equivalent, and over half of the students achieved at least one A* to B or equivalent.   Furthermore a fifth of all the grades were A*/A or equivalent.  I am extremely proud of the students who have worked very hard to achieve these outcomes, and am excited about the next steps that they will now be taking, with many progressing to university and other opportunities.

I would also like to place on record how proud I am of all the teachers and support staff whose dedication and skill has enabled these students to enjoy this success.  Rev Millwood - Headteacher

There are many outstanding individual stories of success, including some students with exceptional achievements at both A level and BTEC Level 3. The school and governors are delighted that our students are now progressing to a range of new and exciting opportunities, with the vast majority being able to take up their chosen destination at some of the top universities in the country.  These include Imperial College, Warwick, Southampton, Bath and many other Russell Group institutions where they will study a range of subjects including Law, Engineering, Teaching and Computer Science.  Others are progressing to the world of work, including apprenticeships.  We wish all our students every success and happiness in the next phase of their education and career choices.
