Charity Week Triumph

Charity Week 2017

This year’s Charity Week, organised by our Sixth Form, has been one of the most successful fundraising events we have ever held. From the 13th – 17th February, we raised money for four fantastic charities: Durham supported ‘Help for Heroes’, Winchester ‘Hand in Hand for Syria’, York ‘Make a Wish Foundation’ and Canterbury ‘Great Ormond Street’. Hundreds of students and staff rushed to the hall every lunchtime to watch our fundraising shows and we made in excess of £3000, well above target!

"A massive thank you goes out to everybody who took part in charity week, through participation in the events or even just coming to watch. It is amazing how much of a difference we can make to the lives of so many people, while having a great time ourselves.
The final total raised was an amazing £3181, which will be divided equally between the four charities. Well done to all!"  - Annabel Hutson - Charity Officer
